Environmental permit for garage

With its excellent reputation in the automotive world, Auto & Truck Service VDC from Wuustwezel is in need of expansion. That' s why they are building a new garage on the De Kluis industrial zone in Hoogstraten. For this new step in their entrepreneurship, they appealed to the thorough environmental knowledge of our Profex consultants for the application for the environmental permit. At the current location there were no more possibilities for expansion, so they had to move to a new location.

The works have been started and the family business wants to move to the new site in November 2020.

Garages and bodyshops are normally classified as a class 3 installation and a notification to the municipality is sufficient. At Auto & Truck Service VDC, the activities are more extensive. Therefore, a class 2 permit was applied for the company.

They didn't took a single risk when it came to layout and furnishing. In the first place we looked at the comfort for the technicians. For example, there are spacious workstations with seven lanes, each of which has its own specific function. Together with the designers of LV architects, Profex determined the right techniques with regard to environmental aspects.

For all their questions concerning the impact on the environment and the necessary adjustments to be in line with environmental legislation, the garage could count on the environmental advice of Profex.
