Environmental permit for 'Sportoase Groot Schijn'
Construction of the new multi-sports complex 'Sportoase Groot Schijn' has officially started
In December 2019 the environmental works on the 'Sportoase Groot schijn' in Antwerp officially started. Due it' s wide range of sports and recreation facilities, this sports oasis will become a unique sports paradise where fun, relaxation and sustainability go hand in hand.
Sportoase Groot Schijn' is a pioneer in the field of sustainability. They strive for optimal energy consumption by using alternative systems. This sports complex will therefore be the first gas-free sports centre in Belgium. Profex is therefore proud that our experts were allowed to participate in this project. We were responsible for the environmental part of the environmental permit application, the archaeological note and the project coordination.
The opening of Sportoase Groot Schijn is planned for the autumn of 2021. Profex is looking forward to the first swim in the sports paradise!
